The
Objectives of The Association
The objectives of the Association are the promotion and advancement of efficient and effective
management and administration in commerce, industry, public sectors and public services in countries all over 1he world. The
Association endeavors to achieve its objectives in the following ways:-
By encouraging the membership of qualified and
experienced managers and administrators from all fields of management and administration as Full Members and/or Fellows;
By
encouraging the membership of junior managers, supervisors, senior clerical and management trainees as Associate Members so
that they can learn from the knowledge and experience possessed and used by those administrators/managers in more senior grades
and will be encouraged to undertake training and studies;
By encouraging contact world-wide between AMA Members in particular
through publications to which Members are encouraged to contribute;
By making available information received from AMA Members
on managerial employment vacancies and opportunities for Management and Administration;
By conducting Diploma Examinations,
under invigilation, on a range of management and administrative subjects.
